Dr Roshan is a compassionate and experienced General Practitioner who moved to Mackay from Brisbane with his family in 2018. He completed his general practice fellowship training in Hervey Bay as well as Brisbane and fully qualified as a general practitioner before relocating to Mackay. Since then, he has been working as a general practitioner in Mackay until the end of 2024. Dr Roshan and his team started a new journey in January 2025 focusing on high-quality, patient-centered care. He believes in treating not just the symptoms but as a whole person, considering the physical, emotional, and social aspects of well-being.

Dr. Janitha is a highly qualified general practitioner who has embarked on the next phase of her career with us at The Discovery Health Centre, Mount Pleasant since March 2025. She holds a Fellowship in General Practice (FRACGP) and a Certificate in Advanced Skin Cancer Medicine.

Dr. Janitha has a strong clinical interest in women's health, child health, family medicine, as well as skin cancer screening and surgery. We are excited to have her as part of our team, where she will continue to provide exceptional care to our patients.

Dr Reeshma Pattan

Dr Reeshma is a caring and experienced GP who has been looking after families in Mackay for the past seven years. Before moving into general practice, she trained and worked extensively in Paediatrics in India and Australia. She went on to gain broad experience across various medical specialties in major Australian hospitals, including Royal Hobart Hospital, Monash Health and Mackay Base Hospital. Reeshma enjoys all aspects of family medicine and has a particular interest in women’s health and mental health. She is especially passionate about helping children with behavioural and developmental concerns, including ADHD, and supporting their families through the process. She believes in taking a holistic, compassionate approach to care and values building long-term relationships with her patients.
